I'm Peter: an engineer, entrepreneur, adventurer, and space geek.
I have cross-disciplinary engineering and management experience focused on space and defense technologies. I have had the privilege to work with small satellite technologies for over ten years and have contributed to multiple orbiting systems. I earned my B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I focused on mechatronics, dynamics, and controls theory culminating in the thesis, "Verification of a Dual-State Extended Kalman Filter with Lidar-Enabled Autonomous Hazard-Detection for Planetary Landers." I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, after defending the dissertation, "Explainable and Cooperative Autonomy Across Networks of Distributed Systems." I am a passionate mentor for student teams exploring technologies relevant to the space domain.
